Wild seed forage - Wilde zaden plukken
Join SoNeBuTu and our Vrije Zaden project to multiply and share nourishing seeds in and around Amsterdam.
You're warmly welcome to our first wild seed gathering event that will be animated by Rens and Tobia.
We meet at 11am at the entrace to Fruittuin van West then we spend 2 hours befriending local ecology and harvesting native seeds that regenerate biodiversity and support the health of peoples and soils. Please take gloves, a siccor and some paper bags for the harvest.
We will harvest sorrell and nettle seeds to share with many community food gardens and introduce you to some lesser known friends who offer nectar and pollen for insects when food is short at the start of next growing season!
Please wear good shoes and bring lots of water and maybe a hat and suncream if its very sunny!
This event is part of a serie where we explore bio-diversity in gardens of Amsterdam west and reasearch which plant are thriving and supporting many other beings.. we envision more divers and flurrishing gardens all arround the city that are places of well-being and nourishment.
