Active Hope Circles - monthly deep ecology gatherings

Active Hope Circles will take you on a journey to empower your own regeneration as well as your unique contribution in paving a more wholesome and sustainable way forward.

In Active Hope Circles you will experience deep ecology practices through the Work that Reconnects over 4 months, meetings once a month in community (with guidance, resources and partner practices in between). Taking part in the adventure of Active Hope supports us to ground these deep ecology practices in daily life to nurture ourselves and our environment. Regular community gatherings enable strong connections that are precious in supporting us through these transformative times. Active Hope provides a strong foundation to empower you as you play your part in creating a more sustainable and wholesome way forward. During this journey, we will move through the spiral of the Work that Reconnects : Coming from Gratitude, Honouring our Pain, Seeing with New Eyes, Going Fourth.

This approach is based on the work of Joanna Macy & Chris Johnstone who just released a new edition of their book "Active Hope : How to face the mess we're in with unexpected resilience and creative power"

Practical Details & Structure:
Introduction Evening - 23 February 2023 from 19h to 21h (online)

You can come to the online session to discover the work and then decide to join the in-person circles
Circles starting in March 2023 until June 2023
Thursday evenings once a month from 18h30 to 20h30
Dates: 23 March, 20 April, 25 May, 22 June

Meeting 4 times in total once a month in community for each stage of the spiral (in person-Amstel park)

23 March – Coming from Gratitude
20 April – Honouring our Pain
25 May – Seeing with New Eyes
22 June – Going Fourth

Note: There will be a partner practice in pairs every month between each group session (this can be done online or in person depending on your preferences & availability)

Note : If you are interested in joining it is preferable if possible to attend all 4 gatherings for a complete experience as we follow this dynamic spiral process and each session builds on the other.
