Beginner's Guide to Gardening

Ever wonder how to start a small, urban edible garden in the city? Would you like to transform your backyard full of tiles into a vegetable garden, but don't know how to start? Or did you try to grow your own herbs/vegetables, did not succeed, and are hesitant to try again? Then this workshop is perfect to answer all these daunting questions! During this 2.5 hours workshop, Amy will walk you through how she converted her tiled yard to a balanced edible garden. She will also provide tips on what to grow, how to crop plan and maintain a healthy garden in the years to come. By the end of the workshop, you will walk away with the confidence & knowledge to start your own small edible garden, and you will re-pot and take a seedling home to grow on your own.
